Research in the NETSEC lab includes:

• Internet Worm Detection:
  Research into preventing, detecting, and recovering from zero-day self-propagating Internet worms.
• Internet Routing Forensics:
  Understanding, monitoring and detecting abnormal BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) events.
• Protected Client-to-Client Data Sharing:
  Extending SSL protection to secure data sharing among peer clients.
• Internet Source Address Validity Enforcement:
  A protocol for ensuring source address correctness throughout the internet.
